Lassen Youth Soccer's in-house playing league is a recreational level (Division IV) league. California Youth Soccer Association (CYSA, or

Cal North) requires that recreational level (Division IV) soccer coaches:

1. Register to coach or assistant coach via GotSport.com using link yearly. 

2. Pass a Live Scan (fingerprinting) background check.

3. Complete online background check (can be accessed via GotSport account) 

4. Complete SafeSport Training (can be accessed via GotSport account)

5. Complete Concussion Protocol (can be accessed via GotSport account)

6. Attend Mandatory Coaches Meeting (see our calendar for dates)

LYS typically provides coaching clinics in the month prior to season start. Information will be made available directly to our coaches.
